I know this might be simple question, but can someone clarify what the term "domain push" means? Is this the same as just transferring the domain to the buyer after the buyer has created an account at the same registrar?

You are correct. Because there are many enom.com users here, and push is the term being used.

Exactly! Enom, Godaddy, even Dotster have this feature! Other Registrars do not ... and for those, the BUYER will initiate a "pull" of the domain over to his/her account at his/her Registrar. The seller simply confirms of this via e-mail. "Pull" is easy (and may cost an added year of registration), "Push" is the BEST (and typically free).
Take care and Happy Selling! :)
