I have a domain, with a pr5 it is unregd with 87 Google LP. It has a dash in it, should I get it or no?

Do your SEO and domain homework and find out as much as you can about the name.

Back links, archive .org listing, what was indexed, what keywords were targeted,

then make your choice.

you can use www.urltrends.com to confirm the links and archive status. also you should be aware that names with hyphens do not necessarily give the correct ovt. good luck.

This thread raises a good question: Why isn't everyone on this forum registered at Moniker.com? Or a company that offers similar service.
For 25 cents you can register this domain and check it for traffic for 4 days.
For 25 cents you can take ownership of this domain while you investigate it.
For 25 cents you can discuss this domain openly and even mention the name without fear of someone taking it from you. Imagine how much more research help people could give you if they knew the name of the domain!

Well if that's the case I have a couple of suggestions for you:

1) Skip 25 cent beer night once a month.
2) Wait a couple months and 25 cents American will be 20 cents Canadian.
3) Move to the states where George Bush is just giving money away. It helps if you're rich, but even if you just pretend to be rich he will probably send you a check at some point.
