I'm interested in getting feedback from other members on their current take on the state of the domain business in general.
I recently "gave away" a very strong .net name and have put up two other strong one word generic .net names in the bids section (accommodations and lists) with no serious offers. I suppose I could parade an array of other names, but without offers, it is going to be an effort in showboating rather than anything productive.
From where I sit, it looks like there is very little going on in the domain sale market at this point. I've seen posts regarding disappointment in the quality of names, but when a quality name goes up, it seems there is very little buying interest from the community.
Is my experience unique? Actually, my experience is unique
- but that's another story, so let me rephrase, is the domain sales market all but done for right now?
I've been through some very tough times recently and it has hurt in a variety of ways, so getting back to the title, what do you think the outlook is for the future as regards domain sales?
