domain tool ideas for web based tool

Hello,

I'm looking for ideas for a web-based domain tool. I've built a few web apps in the past, most recently texthat.com for managing spintax for Internet Marketing tools. I'd like to build a domain-related tool of similar caliber, but am coming up short on ideas. I'm still new to the domaining game...so any ideas are appreciated. It would be a free tool.

Some ideas I have in mind are:
* scraping information for a domain from various sources (ie: webarchive.org, whois history, hosting history).
* generate stats/information on a single domain before you decide to buy/sell it
* purchase history for similar domains
