is it just me or does the link not work?

Well im not speaking about that link.im talking about once the plug in is installed does anyone actully get the pdf? i just get an error screen.

after installing the plug-ins, i got an error saying the document is encrypted.

I installed the plug-in on a separate computer, and I get a 404 after hitting Next.

Jason

ya i get the same, poor planning on all fronts with this "Breaking news"
the link is not even a proper link in the pm, you have to copy and paste it. ( i know this is a small issue) and then the link when you actully go through with installing the plugin is dead.

all i can say is, testing, testing, testing.

some will say you missed out on all the traffic from the advertisment. I for one will still read the magazine once its working and probably still order it regardless.

yeah, i don't get it either. I installed the plug in, and it just get a 'no updates' message when i hit next.

I received the first issue in the mail a few weeks ago. Pretty cool mag.

Hmm,

we are currently looking into the issue and will report back shortly.

Thank you

Bad news, I thought it was spam.. Came here to check

They can send the magazines outside USA?
France for example.

I was prompted to install the plugin. They lost me as a potential customer since for security reasons I never install plugins or unknown programs what with all the Spyware out there and other concerns. Most every day my anti-spy program discovers several spys on my PC which it deletes.

The least they could have done is explain what the plugin does and why it is needed in the first place. It seems quite odd a plugin is required when virtually no one else uses any plugins to view their webpages.

Hmm, for some reason the link was forwarded incorrectly.

That does not appear to be the problem as the reason your PM'd link failed was simply because you forgot to type a space at the end of the url and it was also not formatted as being clickable. The first word of the next sentence joined the end of the url. I noticed it before I even tried to copy & paste it. That is why it's always a good idea when posting links on a forum or your webpage to first click on it to make sure it works.

The plugin is windows only? Can I read the mag on a Linux box?

Add me to the list of people who won't install a new plug-in just to get a magazine.

I'm interested in the print version, and I've seen people refer to a free trial issue, but I don't see a link to that on the website.

I finally found price information in very small print on the page where you put your credit card number ... someplace more prominent would be helpful.

Good luck with the project!

Regards,
Dave

I never install plug-ins as a general rule (unless it's something direct from Apple).

Is this magazine even worth getting? Does it contain special information about domains we can't get anywhere else? Or does it just feature a lot of ads?

Yep, saw the plugin and clicked x.

The word is that it is an excellent magazine.
