It is only on services hun.

A 30-day money back guarantee on all services

About Our Free Trials:
If you are purchasing a service with a 30-day free trial period, you must cancel the services before the 30-day free trial ends or you will be charged for the next service period.

You have me excited there for a minute.

1.well, at register.com it says clearly 30-day money back guarantee comes with domain.(i.e. :What comes with my domain name? 30-day money back guarantee.)

2.as it says so, you may complain after if no refund.

3. domain name registration- it is a service indeed

4. if they do not do refunds on domains, then i would consider their statement as misleading.

Angel: I told you already it has nothing to do with domain registration.

Although, I still disagree with you I did a little digging in their FAQ's.

http://help.register.com/cgi-bin/re...WFyY2hfdGV4dD1ndWFyYW50ZWU*&p_li=&p_topview=1

Under the second bullet it says:

If your domain name is less than thirty days past registration, you are eligible to receive a refund through Register.com's money-back guarantee. Simply call us toll free at: 1-877-731-4442 (outside the U.S. at 1-902-749-5919).

So to answer your questions it does appear that Register.com does offer a 30 day money back guarantee on their domain names. Still a domain name is not considered a service. It is a product you are leasing for a given term.

Did some reading in their TOS: http://www.register.com/retail/policy/servicesagreement.rcmx#1

Under Section 7 subheading a sentence 2. All fees are due immediately and are non-refundable, except as otherwise expressly noted in one or more of Sections 1-7.

I would email them for clarification.

yuk, i was going to participate in debates here about the facts

1. if they do not do refunds - their statements are- misleading

2. the domain registration- it is a service.(according icann, or whatever ie:http://www.domain.com/domainsatableofcontents.html)

Guys, stick to the thread's main issue about the 30-day thingie! :-D

I once encountered that. But I'm skeptical because registrars normally don't
offer a 30-day MBG for domain names, it's too costly especially for the lower-
priced ones.

I read register.com's FAQ on that part. From what I gather, it doesn't apply to
domain names.

Rather, it applies to all their "complementary" services like webhosting.

Whether it's misleading advertising or not depends on someone taking them to
task for it.

Stay away from reg.com like the plague. My experience with them was good 7 years ago last 4 years they have turned into a joke. They have lost names on me some of my best ones.
