What do they actually mean?

How much would domains be worth with an 'e' in front of them

For example ebandname.com - Replacing the band name with a famous band?

I have seen domains sold with 'e' in front of them and even 'i', so just wondering.

They don't have any value at all if they don't make any sense.

E in front of a domain stands for Electronic and in E-Mail, I stands for Internet.
Putting E in front of a band name would not make sense unless they were performing online.

Putting E or I in front of an internet related name, for example Blog.com would become eBlog.com, would have some value but not nearly as much as the original name.
