Anyone knows is it good? Is Exody much better?

I can't subscribe to Exody because I don't have paypal and domainsbot.com have an option to buy membership with credit cards...

Why not just get a paypal acct with your credit card? That's how it's intended to work, you can pay with your credit card using paypal.

It really depends what you plan on using the lists for.

If you just want to dig through the recently expired or
on-hold lists by keyword, visit a free site like
www.DomainPond.com and you'll find everything
you need there.

Like Andrew said,

If you're looking for traffic domain names, Yahoo listed
domains, Dmoz listed, AOL listed, Lycos listed, Alexa rated,
available domains check out www.Domain-Retriever.com

If you're looking for a service that will bring you live traffic
reports and powerful search features check out www.NameSniper.com.

Best of luck!

1.) NameSniper provides Live traffic reports? What exactly you mean by that?

2.) domainsbot isnt good or what?

3.) Which service is the best if you are hunting for domains with traffic?

Thanks

I just took out a subscription with exody.

I couldn't use paypal due to their country restrictions.

I paid by Western Union, but I had to pay Western Union something like US$15 to make the payment. So a US$35 subscription costs US$50 :(

domainAddict,

Domain-Retriever is software which requires your own bandwidth
and system resources to extract domain names which contain
link popularity, Alexa ratings, search engine listings or all.

We provide you with Exody lists for that software.

Now, NameSniper.com is a service that is powered by multiple
dedicated servers and offers "domain name reports" which
include:

1. Expired domain names with Link popularity
2. On-hold domain names with link popularity
3. Soon to expire domain names with link popularity

4. Yahoo expired/on-hold/expiring soon domains
5. Dmoz expired/on-hold/expiring soon domains

Scan rates of up to 10,000 per second on custom
lists (for yahoo/dmoz inclusion).

Check out the site, www.NameSniper.com and let me know
if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Luc L.

DomainRetriever: Both services seem to be cool, however I think Im leaning more towards sniper due to the fast link pop checking as well as yahoo/dmoz listing (does domain retriever offer the same?). You said that with DnRetriever you provide exodys list, so theres no need for me to signup for my own? I havent had enough time, but Ill check out the site for info as soon as I can. Thanks!

PS: I believe they are both yours? Which of these two is more recomended?

PPS: Can domain retrievers script be ran from rackshacks dedicated server? It has broader bw than my cable connection ;)

Sorry I missed this post addict.

To answer your questions:

1. DR is actually a windows based application designed to be
executed from a home PC. It is not a script, therefore it will
not run on a server.

2. NS servers compile lists and report them to each user. The
advantage of this service is that if you have a slow connection,
you won't be able to extract domains as fast as other people
using DR.

Both services offer real time Yahoo domain listings compiled
by our servers.

Both services come with Exody lists.

Which one would I recommend? Hmm. I would give DR
DEMO a shot and if it's fast enough for you then get
DR. If you want precompiled quality reports, and very
fast Yahoo/Dmoz listing checks, subscribe to NameSniper.

Yes. They're both mine.

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Thank You,
Luc L.

Hi DomainRetriever,

I have reviewed the websites for Domain Retriever & Name Sniper and don't fully understand the feature difference, even after reading the posts in this thread.

Our main goal is to locate the best tool for finding expired and soon to expire domain names. We are already familiar with domainsbot.com and deleteddomains.com and are looking for something similar with same or better features.

Although knowing if domains are currently listed with dmoz, yahoo or have inbound links is very useful, our main purpose is locating quality domain names in various areas of interest.

Which would you recommend?

If you have a quick comparison list of features for your two sites, that would be helpful in our decision.

Thank you

Domain,

If you're trying to locate domain names which contain certain
keywords (certain markets), then I'd probably recommend
using the free service provided by us on DomainPond.com.

The powerful search enables you to input multiple keywords
and returns the most recent results.

The results only include Expired, Expiring Soon
or On-Hold domain names. They do not include traffic reports,
link popularity reports or search engine reports.

Many of our DR clients are domain professionals who seek
out brandable domain names for their clients. Expired domain
names with already existing (established) traffic are much
more valuable to the potential user.

If you're looking for particular 'brands', and if you are interested
in existing traffic then I'd probably recommend going with DR.
Domain-Retriever allows you to input certain keywords before
you load the list and it spits back domain names containing
those keywords(s). You can than work from that list or you
can scan domains for traffic, alexa, etc.

NameSniper does offer a basic search feature but it's not
as powerful as the one in use by DR.

Thanks,
Luc L.
