Prolly a stupid question but can the currency for the sales prices be easily changed from $ to £ (pounds) for the above program

You can easily change that.
And it's included in the above script FREE.

Open config_inc.php and find this line:

$csym = '$'; // currency symbol

Change to whatever you want.
