I'm trying to get my dotster auth codes for a few info domains since their regular fees for renewals are just ridiculous (14.95/y).

How can I force them to hand out the auth codes? Their email request function is not working, I received no mail after the request and even changed the mail address to different ones and trying it again and again, just in case something should be wrong on my side.

Oh and of cause they are not reacting at all on emails/submitted messages through their help form.

I usually log in and check-off the domain I want the auth-codes for the in the drop down box click "unlock these domains to allow transfer" then recheck them and in the drop down go to "retrieve authorisation code"

If this doesn't work set-up a account at mydomain.com and push your domains their and renew at $9.95

I have the same issue at mydomain.com.
I thought this could be the antispam but I receive the renewal E-mails from them

The auth codes by E-mail are now working.
If you have domains to transfer away from dotster/mydomain.com go ahead and retrieve your codes :)

Dotster has some of the cheapest prices in the industry for large portfolios if you find a contact person to talk to. They can offer you $7.95 renewals and right now they are running a special for $6.95 plus .20 icann fee for transfers. MyDomain.com is the same company, just another interface. They also can be lenient on renewals, and do not take them as soon as they expire like GoDaddy. There are definitely a few bugs they have to work out, but no more than most registrars.

I would rather have the auth codes available from my control panel rather than pray for the E-mail to arrive.
