They just picked up another name I had a SnapBack on.

I guess they don't mess around anymore!

Your telling me, they beat 4 of my snaps so far and all the NW bids were under the regular $69 snap price, which also really annoys me. Guess I'm gonna have to start double making sure I have name bids on both services.

Sigh.

It's a crap shoot.

Sometimes SNAP sends the next reg request after the name becomes available. Sometime NW does. Sometimes it's someone else.

If you really want the name, get the name, get the high bid on NW and go elsewhere as well.

Or if you're really smart, buy it from the registrant during the redemption period.

Name winner got a name I was looking at, and it had a snap on it and it was cheaper at n/w. It was still more than I wanted to pay though :)

I tried to beat them by hand and, would you believe, I had a power cut for 2 hours round the drop time. England is now definitely a 3rd worls country :(

Hi Mark,
I send an email that nobody replied.
I didn't receive 2 outbid emails yesterday. As a result I missed one domain.
Why is this happening?
I think you have more work to do.

Im not complaining cause NW got some nice names that had snaps for me but they also beat some of my snaps. Its reaking havoc on my limited switch snap orders..gonna have to start paying full price for unlimiteds now :)

Sorry Stuff; information on how we grab names is highly confidential. All I can say is that I am confident we have the best domain drop grabbing system out there, and that we are working hard to continually improve it so we provide an even more successful service for our customers.

George,

My opinion is that no news is good news. If Verisign thought they would get away with it they would have started things moving as part of Namestore.

Ok I lost another domain today due to not getting oubid emails.
I am not satisfied with this at all.
Namewinner is not sending any emails 9-10pm PT.
Why is this happening?
Also you can't raise your proxy bid once you are the highest bidder. I tried doing that today, failed and then lost the domain.
This sucks..............

Don't mean to meddle, but isn't your proxy bid supposed to be the HIGHEST price you are prepared to pay?

Nexus yes it is.
The thing is that you can enter a domain today that expires in 3 months. You come back in 3 months and you want to raise your proxy bid. What do you do? You just wait for someone to outbid you and then maybe(NOT) receive an outbid email.

Actually, you can raise your proxy bid using the new bulkbid form. It is the top option when you login to your account.

There is also a new outbid page that was added that allows you to see who has just outbid you. When it comes time for the 10 o'clock hour that is the best page to use to see what names you have to up your bid on.

I hope this helps, and I hope to post and address any issues or questions people have regarding the NameWinner service.

Thanks
NameWinner Guy
