I posted something similar to this one in 2010 - We can combine them.
How about TM violations?

It seems 1 more important part is to be included to clarify that the expectations for respectful behavior extends beyond the online forums we run (DNForum.com, AcornDomains.co.uk and others..) and apply to your physical events as well.

===

Code of Conduct Applies to Events:

This Code of Conduct applies to all online interactions on our forums (dnforum.com & acorndomains.co.uk) as well as all networking events we organize or co-organize. We expect all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers to uphold the principles of respectful discourse and professional conduct outlined in this document.

Good morning John,

Thank you. I have to say that the previously created rules look rock-solid on the first look.

The Code of Conduct will be a seperate document defyning the general feel of DNF: polite, pleasant and professional.

--

About the Rules > we (me, couple Legal friends of mine and Google's Gemini) will go through them and will be revising as well > this will be a huge task as potentially involves creating sub-rules for every of the sub-forums.

:) I really like the existing Rules!! Thank you.

--

what are your thoughts on the Code of Conduct? Thank you!

About the Rules
Hi

you need limit on number of threads a member can create in a single day and limit on how many active sales threads a member can have open.

also, by allowing comments in sales threads, it can result in shill appraisals, talk of value, etc.
unless a member is interested in buying, or there is legit problem with the listing, then no comments allowed.

don't need "influencers" influencing in sales section or lots of back-and-forth conversations that keeps bumping that thread to top of que, over others in same section.
all that dribble can be done via PM.

Thanks

Thank you. Spot on. Added it at https://feedback.dnforum.com/t/wish-list (Wish List) > this should help to remember this, when we het here.

Yes, in 95% cases.. Though sometimes a post can trigger a conversation > and in this case everyone benetits: the OP (natural 'bump') and the DNForum as another seo-wise weak thread grows with meet and muscle.

Me myself, I also like sometimes jumping in a thread with a little off-topic thought that is directly triggered by the original post.

as you say: IMO :) .. nice one ;)

Hi

a new member created 14 sales threads yesterday which i merged into single thread and then another member posted comment about "climate" in the merged thread and about opinion on value, with no intent to purchase.

the focus may be on getting more visitors,
but is anybody else noticing what they do, when they get here?

imo...

Thank you Don,

The focus is providing a platform where people do both: talk and do business.

You bring up a valid point: some people don't like people randomly asking questions if they have no intent to buy.

... I suspect the conversations about climate domains is more about being able to talk not really selling them here
