I know a lot of folks frown upon templates but I fell it would make it easier to get started with a little template help. I am not opposed to paying for templates but I have read some negative reviews about DreamTemplate outside of these forums.

If anyone has purchased a membership or used DreamTemplate forums please let me know how it worked out for you.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

I've tried them, they have a lot of templates but they are over used and not all are the best quality, I would recommend either woothemes or entheosweb

I have used them a couple of times as well. Not bad and decent prices. You REALLY have to watch what you are buying. As Rockefeller said, some are overused so if it looks familiar, it is. As important as this, watch the resolution very carefully. You may find a great site that is perfect for you only to find that they designed for 800x600 and it will not scale up. The quality can very widely from tough to work with and lots of correcting to pretty good. The biggest thing for me was the resolution I mentions, be very sure first as it can make it unusable.

If you are using Wordpress, I am overly impressed with the Suffusion template.

I in ten years have never used something so amazing.

This guy did his work.

(sorry if off-topic, I have no idea what code base you are referring to)
