After much comparison shopping, reliability issues, and consideration, I am going with the Verizon Droid phone.

I have seen this is action, the service and reception locally has improved, and I am really excited about the capabilities of this phone - like the voice directions from Google Maps that is a FREE feature.

The Nexus One by Google is currently distributed by T-Mobile which is not that strong of a service locally.

I love Sprint. But their droid models are like 1.5 or something like that and currently no plans to update them. The phones we have been using, the Helio Oceans are a great phone but had the best service as well. It was Helio which was bought out by Virgin Mobile who has now been bought out by Sprint.

So, I guess I'll be a Droid Fan Boy now.
