Registry Registrar Protocol (RRP)
A protocol for the registration and management of second level domain names and associated name servers in both Top Level Domains (TLDs) and country code Top Level Domains (ccTLDs). This protocol was developed by the Network Solutions Registry for use within the Shared Registration System. RRP is a TCP-based, 7-bit US-ASCII text protocol that permits multiple registrars to provide second level Internet domain name registration services in the top level domains (TLDs) administered by a TLD registry. It's operated by registrars themeselves and so is 'one hop' away from the registry, controlled by Versign GRS. Each registrar has, we think 40 threads allocated them for their 'drop pool 3'. Snapnames therefore pay registers like : www.totalregistrations.com to use their RRP to catch domains. BuyDomains use others like www.domainzoo.com

Well, if YOU truly had pool 3 direct access, that would not be a problem now would it?

But since you don't, and likely don't even have much of a relationship with the registrar that does, you can't get info there.

Not that there is where the info comes from only.
This was a well documented creation by VGRS and it is not a big "secret".

What DOES seem to be a big mystery is what you are offering in your sig. "What do you want to know" would seem to be pretty obvious...

What edge do YOU have to offer?
