What do you all think of this name?

I could be used for a domain drop service

or

some sort of networking/gossip site (as it is also a regularly used term for someone mentioning powerful people they know to impress others).

Thanks!

I think the former is better. Nore marketable for sure at least in theory. You know the word "dropping" may be the seemingly weak link but it you think about it, we want to catch these AS THEY ARE DROPPING and not after others have had their pick from the "dropped" *wink*

Interesting pun IMO, could raise eyebrows $45

It would be interesting if you could develop a probability based theory predicting the exact time a domain will be taken off of hold based on certain known creteria that could be used as predictors (registrar would be the main one I know -lol)

I'm sure you could develop a theory. The only problem is that the information that you need as you variables is not easy to come by and not really public by any means. I guess that would make it all the more valuable if you could do it.

:D
