After looking at most of the registrars "transfer" policies it appears an owner cannot transfer domains generally until 60 days after registering them? Is this the standard, and has anyone found that you can transfer a name within a shorter time period? I'm just curious because I reg'd a few names about a month ago and would like to put them on the auction block, however it looks like I'm obligated to hold onto them for another 30 days?

Thanks ~

60 days after registration is common. However, you can push the name anytime after purchase.

You need to understand the difference between registrar and registrant
The time limits apply to registrar transfers
There is usually no time limit on transferring registrant .ie. changing ownership of a domain within the same registrar
Hope that helps

Thanks for the clarification fellas...

so "pushing" the name would be within the same registrar (which can happen anytime), and "transfer" would be sending the name to a different company (60 days)?
