Why do people watch TV situation comedies when the domain listings on Ebay are so much funnier?

On this auction:

The buyer informs us that:
"Right now it is almost impossible to get any domain name"

and if that weren't shocking enough he adds this:

".bz is very good for any business, as a matter of fact .bz is better for business than .com"

How come you guys never told me this before?

70,000 pages is easy....it's over 500,000 that it gets to be a real pain..

The simplified version...

Target keyword market's that you can beat (rank well at)..

I didnt target "Beijing" with 3.3 million results (competition) .... I broke it down to the travel market-- beijings travel market.. :yes: for small players without thosands of inbound links ..find the best niche(that you can profit from)..with the least amount of competition..

Once I learn how to rank on 1st page with over 500K withOUT thosands of inbounds I'l let you know..err... no I wont then we keep that secret....

Well you will appreciate this then Bid. I put dnjournal.com online 1 month ago. At Google the words domain name journal (no quotation marks meaning those 3 words can show up anywhere in the page) returns 682,000 pages. My site is at #1. Almost no links to the site yet, so Google put it their based on keyword and text relevancy alone.

Better yet if you just put in two of the words name and journal, you get over 3 million pages with name and journal on the page and dnjournal.com still comes up #1.
