First person to post the answer to the following brainteaser wins 200 dnf bucks:
Three boys shared a packet of biscuits, there were 24 in the pack.
They each had a number equal to what his age had been three years previously.
The youngest boy said he would halve his share, keep one half and divide the
remaining half among his two friends - but in order to do this, the middle friend
had to promise to do the same, followed by the eldest. When they had finished
sharing, they had 8 biscuits each. What are the ages of the friends?
