legal Ekodomains has slipped up!

These annoying bastards.

I am getting countless emails per day from them. First, it was the plural of names I owned. Now it is the letter "m" prefix attached to my domains.

Despite selecting opting out, I still get these emails.

Well, needless to say, their WHOIS for ekodomains.com is Privacy Protected.

But, their email posts a different URL to respond to the opt out request (which forwards to ekodomains).

Been getting dozens of these too. Stupid a-holes.

They need to be reported to their web host for spamming. They don't honor the opt-out nor is it Can-Spam compliant.

Just spoke with someone at Clubuptime.com.

Essentially, even though a name ecooffers.com may be with them, if the emails are NOT originating from their servers they can not do anything.

But let's shift some pressure on them TO ACT to find out the source...

These guys are spamming through various emails.

Obviously, the email to opt out of future emails is a joke...probably just confirms that the user email is active.

What started out as a pleasant conversation on the phone has now turned into this:

Hello,

I'd like to make the following clear --

1) The person you are reporting is NOT affiliated with us aside from the fact that they are a customer of ours
2) The server being used to send the email is NOT on our network
3) Continuing to report our company to GoDaddy simply because they are domain registrar is not going to get you anywhere. Why not? GoDaddy can not control our actions, we can not control the actions of our client outside of our network.

We request that you cease and desist providing false claims about our domain name to GoDaddy.

If you want to report to someone, you should report the domain name in question to that domain names registrar.

Apparently they are using multiple, multiple accounts. The email opt out on the ones I received were from ekooffers dot com.
