My inbox is filled with bounced emails sent not by me but someone else. The emails that sent them are like [randomletter]@droplister.com I changed my passwords but they still come. Is this a strange way of reverse spam, or are is someone sending spam with @droplister.com. What can I do to stop it. The emails they are sending are like essays about whatever and then there is a .gif thing and then a bunch of jumbled code

I think the headers from the bounced emails included his IP but that doesnt help me much I dont think

check with your hosting company , they have logs of how many emails were sent daily, I had this happen to me once with a email script that uses sendmail , if your hosting company has logs of a lot of emails sent then its possible you been hacked.,if not then its a spammer using your return addy.

Chances are they are spammers who have faked the sender/return address and unfortunately chose your domain name. This has happened to me a few times in the past. Apart from reporting the issue somewhere the only thing you can really do is turn off your catch-all email setting, that way you wont get the bounced emails.
