Mike Mann sells StopTheHate.org for big bucks.
Sedo had a strong sales week last week, handling 584 transactions for a total of $1.6 million.
Human Rights Group, which campaigns for LGBT rights, paid a solid price for a .org domain name. Mike Mann sold StopTheHate.org to it for $24,888.
The International Olympic Committee, which usually finds some legal way to get domain names it wants, bought the surname of the founder of the IOC in .com.
Here are some end user domain name purchases from the past week at Sedo:
(You can view previous lists like this here. If you’d like to learn how to sell your domain names like these on Sedo, download this report.)
StopTheHate.org $24,888 – Human Rights Campaign, the LGBT civil rights advocacy group.
Sesamo.com €22,500 – The buyer is somehow connected to Sesame Street. Sésamo is sesame in Italian.
JustMoney.com $10,000 – A coming soon page says “Smarter. Together.”
V2V.com $10,000 – I assumed the buyer bought this for “vehicle-to-vehicle” communication, but the buyer makes ball bearings. Its website is VXB.com. Do some people hear this as v2v.com?
MyWell.com $9,000 – Wellstar Groundwater Technologies in Texas.
Coubertin.com £7,000 – International Olympic Committee (IOC) bought this domain name. Pierre de Coubertin founded the IOC and the modern olympic games.

Circle.net $5,000 – Circle, the online payments company that owns Circle.com.
Bouwsparen.com €3,025 – SNS Bank in the Netherlands. I believe this means “build savings”.
XSPC.com £2,500 – XSPC manufactures water cooling components and accessories. Its website is currently XSPC.biz.
