Here at home (Ottawa) and on a recent trip to Vancouver I noticed quite a few generic, LL's and LLL's being used by end-users and I got to wondering if anyone here has sold these types of names to well known, national end-users.
I haven't but I'd be interested to hear stories about which names you've owned that have gone onto being developed into full fledge sites, been featured in commericals, on billobards, etc...(I'm Obviously not looking for sales figures here)
To get things started, here are the names that prompted me to write this post...
ffo.ca (franco ontarian festival)
feo.ca (fitness equipment ottawa)
dc.ca (d'aoust contruction)
dq.ca (dairy queen)
pc.ca (president's choice)
enamel.ca (a dental clinic in Vancouver)
vasectomy.ca (a vasectomy clinic in ottawa)
elevatorcabs.ca (elevator cab company)
Has anyone ever owned these names?
