Hi,

Could some please explain the difference(s) between a Enom master reseller account at 6.95....and a Enom sub-reseller account at 6.95?

What is a good price for:

$6.95 master reseller account?

$6.95 sub account?

Thanks for your replys in advance.

Master Accounts can only be set up by a purchase deposit of $6,995 (1000 com/net/org domains) -

Or you can buy one if someone is selling.

Usually you only find $6.95 reseller accounts available. They used to be all over eBay. I have not seen any lately. They go around the $200 mark.

Just to give you a heads up, I bought a $6.95 reseller account for nearly $300, pricing was fixed at $6.95 for regs, transfers and renewals, but after about 6 months, my reseller URL Collection hiked up the transfer price to $7.95, I contacted them about the increase and my emails went unanswered.... When I have the extra cash, I plan to buy a master account and not be at anyone's mercy.

ENOM is raising their prices thats why you can't find those 6.95 accounts anymore. I bought mine a year ago for 200 bucks off of ebay not it's going up to 7.45:disappointed:

Dear eNom ETP Reseller,
In April 2007, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) approved the applications of certain domain registries to increase their prices. Domain registries are the private companies which manage the registration, technical operations and control the allocation policies of the TLD's for which it is responsible.

Domain registries VeriSign, Afilias, Neulevel and Public Interest Registry applied for and received price increases and have announced they will be raising their wholesale prices to all ICANN-accredited registrars.

In light of that decision, eNom will be adjusting its ETP pricing tiers on Sunday, October 14, 2007 as follows:

This is has nothing to do with the recent price increase. I've been stuck paying $7.95 on domain transfer for years when it was initially $6.95. When you have a reseller above you like I do, this being URL Collection, they can increase the pricing as much as they want to on that $6.95 account you bought for $300....So be careful who you buy from.

I recommend Fabulous.com
$6.85 for .com
$4.95 for .net

Of course many registrars will give a discount for the first year if you transfer to them
Then the price goes up after year 1.
Name.com is only $6 for the first year and then the price rises for 2nd year
