I was wondering, is their a way, I can 'download' the list of domains I have at enom to use as proof that I own these domains in case of fraud (I got a little paranoid with some enom threads) ?
I would really appreciate any assistance.

Thanks!

Don't know of a way to do that, however why not simply copy each page of domains and paste into Word?
This will give you a simple list of domains in your account at a certain time stamp, however it will not necessarily prove ownership!

yes, that's a good idea. Perhaps also a screen capture?

But as you say, If a domain 'disapears' , like maybe it goes to netsol or something, I guess it's not much proof.

echo -e 'GET /interface.asp?command=GetAllDomains&uid=REPLACEWITHYOURUSERNAME&pw=REPLACEWITHYOURPASSWORD&ReponseType=Text HTTP/1.1\nHost: reseller.enom.com\n\n'|nc reseller.enom.com 80|grep -v ^DomainNameID|grep ^DomainName|cut -f2 -d=

The above command will do it for you, presumming you have API access enabled for your IP address. Yes, its an ugly hack, but its an ugly (quick) hack that happens to work :-D.

Hi!
I have API access enabled.
One question...
Where exactly do I run that command from...
(must b e a not-too-smart question, I know...)

From the shell.

I'm a Linux user...

You'll need netcat installed btw, though it is pretty standard these days.

If you don't have access to a computer with shell access, if you trust me enough (which would be a lot) you can send me your username/password and I will run it for you and send you a list. Alternatively, you could subscribe to our web hosting services, Silver packages and above, which include a shell account :). http://www.omegasphere.net/web-hosting/pricing/

Thanks ddent for all the help!

I have RH9 installed as a secondary OS, so I think it should work from there!

thanks again!

Why don't you go to enom menu after signing in.

Then, select "domains".
And, then "report"

It will list all of the domains in the account.

You then just copy and paste it to excel.

I copy and paste to excel about every two months
from my 5 reseller accts. As a backup.

Plus, I update my master spreadsheet about every
week.

yes, but that would not be 'proof', as it is easier to dispute (I think) than actually having it downloaded directly.
???

act, that sounds great in theory, but which one actually shows you the domains???

all I get is order numbers etc..., no actual domain data.
If I select 'registrations' I get:
Invalid report
If you got to this page from the "Transactions" link or the "view orders" link, you can now select and view those reports from this page, just select the appropriate report in the drop down menu.

The others work, but as I said, no actual domain data, just links for order numbers that once clicked, give you the domain name...

I personally don't think any of this is useful as 'proof'... BUT, it is useful to have :).
