Does anyone know why it takes enom registered names 4-5 days to change DNS.

When I was with Web Launching, if I changed the info before midnight EST, it was always changed by morning and I could upload to the site right away.

I am beginning to think the enom discount is not worth it because of the inferior service.

Any suggestions? thx

I've never have to wait that long.

Maybe your're using global DNS Change ?
If this one, maybe will take time.

Well, everything was fine until about two weeks ago. The process still took about 48 hours but that was acceptable.

But what happened when I clicked on configure DNS, the screen is different now. You have to choose in a drop down box from Cname, Address and a couple other things.

That was never there before and since this change I have tried to transfer about 10 domains DNS and it is taking 4-5 days.

If it is cashed by your ISP then it might take longer but eNom dns should be updated in real time.

Are you trying to set DNS NameServer or DNS Record ?
If you're trying to set NameServer, it's usually within 24 hours.
If you're trying to set DNS Record (which you can choose from dropdown list for Address,CNAME, Frame, Redirect), it's INSTANT.

As Marty said, it maybe because of cache. Try CTRL + F5 when accessing your site from your browser.
