I don't see anything wrong with Enom requesting renewal funds from you.

All of the registrars are being squeezed just like any business. So, if they can start charging a renewal fee for domains with other registrars. Their return on investment goes thru the roof.

And, I am sure Verisign will not mind when Enom starts charging the Network Solution customers.

and the domain name is not expiring.

Therefore they got the domain and email address from some where else.

Either from my whois of enom names or they to are now spamming opensrs UK domains.

Yeah, thats sucks.. it's even worse like this when they try and trick you by being all sugary nice ..

Why do companies insist on getting to certain levels then start doing crap like this which does nothing but tarnish an image they have built up...

I was joking above.

But, this is the first time I have heard of Enom doing this.

So, far. They have been legit in everything I have done with them.

I would give them the benefit of the doubt that they screwed up somehow.

It's been years now since I started doing business in domain names. I received all them coming from verisign (netsol), register, enom and the latest is the .ws marketing emails. I received 5 emails just this week alone.

Just consider this as marketing approach of diff. parties ... to gain control in domain business....
