I consider Enom my homebase. So, I depend on Enom more than other registrars.

However, Enom keeps having these little stupid problems.

For example, I have been trying a number of times today to transfer some domains
to Enom.

And, I keep getting an "Error Page".

Last week, it was something else.

Is it growing pains?

Is it because they are not building enough internal structure?

I wasnt going to post about it, as it is becoming a regular activity :)

Today, 2 domains showed the usual 'authorization complete'.

Didnt want to take a chance, so I regged both at another regsitrar.

About 2 hours later, the order was processed, with the 'domains not available' $0 charge.

Yes, there seems to be a problem today.

Advantages of Enom far outweigh any small problems IMO - I find a support ticket generally helps.

They do have some problems Richard - Lately all kind of crazy things from funds not showing up after funding to crazy transfer issues to this whole free .info thing but Roger hit on the nose I guess - "Advantages of Enom far outweigh any small problems IMO - I find a support ticket generally helps." Good luck - Steve

Steve and Roger, I agree with you.

However, all of these little but important things keep happening.
And, I don't understand why.

I realize "things happen". But, it is too frequent.

I then I remember that they only make $ 0.95 on each domain. Including
all of the features they give us.

It just drives me nuts because I depend on them to keep all of the domains
organized for me.

I may have found a solution to one of their problems... the PUSH function fails about 50% of the time, even though it gives a confirmation message AND confirmation email. I *think* that your push will fail if the name is not entered in all lower case. I've had about 20 such push failures so I will do more testing. eNom just closed the ticket on the original problem report instead of fixing it.

This is a system wide limitation. You are not allowed to push a name between 2 different accounts twice in a week. However, you may push the name more than once between parent account and sub accounts.

To bypass this, just use a the list wizard (even if you are using a single name).
