Somebody please explain these enom reseller accounts to me!

-What means ETP?
-I hear people talking about how they have created few accounts for testing, and now they are selling them? I dont get it.. How could have they created them on their own? Isnt enom the only one that has the power to do it?
-And by getting an $6.95 acc from somebody here, is he above me or something? What exactly does this mean? (Ive heard somebody say that you become a reseller of a reseller of a reseller..) Please explain since Im confused, and no info is available on enoms homepage..

Thanx!

ETP means that the reseller is a direct reseller of enom. This reseller can now create sub accounts under him and make money of the comission. Before it was possible to create $6.95 sub accounts and not making any commission. This led to accounts beeing offered for a small setup fee or on ebay for $10. These resellers did not care about giving support to their subaccounts, just the small profit. I think enom stopped this by setting a rule that a reseller cannot create subaccounts for less than $8.95, which in my opinion is really good move by enom as this is better for everyone. Also, I think many resellers were angry as they paid the initial deposit and you could bypass this by getting a $6.95 subaccount of ebay for ten bucks. Also, a reseller can create subaccount and that subaccount can create subaccounts and so on.

Thanx Marty. I thank Ive got a picture.. So if I wanted to be an ETP, than I would have to signup directly through enom, right? And in order to achieve the $6.95 price, I would have to deposit around $6000?

What happens if Im not a direct reseller, but a reeller of a reseller, and the direct reseller who is above me, decides to close his account, or lets say gets banned? Does this terminate my account as well, since hes the one that has created a subaccount?

Sub-reseller will not be affected, though it would be best to know your partner. For detailed information, send email to [email protected], just to remind you they don't reply quick on questions.

This is the main reason why you need reliable and technical reseller support from your main reseller, kinda long term business relationship.

Hope this help you out.

I've had some of these same questions myself. If I'd known I could have bought an account for $10 on ebay a while back I would have done that I just figured out I couldn't front the $6000 and moved on to other ideas.
