I tried to transfer some domains in eNom, and from that started a long struggle! I included all the ticket history, read it and you'll never want to move your domains in eNom again !

I think that might be a good opportunity for me to move them to FABULOUS which has the best wholesale price on domains. I might move aswell all the 300 or so domains expiring in the next 2 months at eNom... And so might I over the next months until I have NO (ZERO, NADA) domain left in eNom.

Hello,

On the 7th, I initiated a transfer of 37 domains but there has been no move since then and I didn't receive any emails to accept the transfers.
I'm transferring these domains out of Godaddy and I know Godaddy always do their best to keep the domains in their system, so I thought it might be useful to contact you before they expire and I'd have to renew them with godaddy!

The order concerned: #####

Thank you for your help,
Sincerely,
Romain

It looks like the mail was actually sent for all of the names and our system is still waiting for the response to that mail. Spot-checking the names in the order shows that most if not all of that mail went to the same address, which is [email protected]
If you do not see the mail in the inbox or spam folder for that address, it will probably be best to cancel the order, change the address on file for the names, and then open a new order so our system will look up the new address and send the mail there instead.

Hello,

[email protected] has email forwarding hosted at enom and is forwarded to [email protected] which is a mailbox hosted at enom.
So I can't understand how an email sent from your system can't reach a mailbox hosted on your system? (I checked my spams)

Could you please double-check the transfer emails or re-initiate them for me, so I don't have to re-get and re-enter all the EPP authorizations?

Thank you,
Romain

I've requested that our developers reset this order. I'll let you know when this has been done.

The orders have been reset and the transfer verification emails have been sent again. You will still need to respond to these before the transfer can process.

Hello,

I still didn't receive any emails concerning the transfer...

Romain

I find it very frustrating when the registrar I chose to group all my domains is not giving me an efficient support.
I already struggle enough while trying to transfer domains out of some dodgy registrars so I really don't need for my INCOMING registrar to mess with the transfers/emails.

As I already said in this ticket, my e-mails are ALL hosted with eNom and I'm trying to transfer IN, not OUT for god sake!
Why so much trouble to give you what you want (more domains on your platform)??!!

More and more domainers advise to register with Moniker but I always supported eNom, and each time I sold some domains registered here I insisted so my customers create an eNom account instead of transferring out... but now I'm really wondering if I did the right choice.

It has now been 13 days since I wanted to start these transfers and some domains are already expired or will expire soon so I will have no other choice but to renew them at GoDaddy which is the very last thing I wanted to do!

I really hope you will find a solution that will satisfy me as much if not more than how I was when I first moved to eNom.

Regards,
An unhappy customer.

One thing I noticed - even though it does not seem to be the problem here - is that Enom is blacklisted as a source of spam by many ISP.
Do not buy mail forwarding from them (or Namecheap), most likely you will miss a lot of legitimate mail.

I never use 3rd party email forward services. Other than that, I have no problems with eNom.

I have dedicated servers but I still host my emails at enom because I know emails are a real pain to manage. They shouldn't propose a service if they can't handle it!

Acroplex -> I had no problems before with enom and was praising them!
