I am selling a name using escrow.com (unfortunately the buyer lives in California and moniker does not serve to California residents.)

The payment has been received.
I think I shouldl I push the domain to the buyers email adress(on the screen) + the address(submitted) as whois details.

Am I right ?

1. Follow instructions sent to you by Escrow.com - if they say "proceed" then do so.
2. Make sure the WHOIS info matches that of the account at Escrow who submitted payment.
3. Copy Escrow.com on all emails.

Wait till you get the confirmation from escrow that they secured the payment and then you can ask the buyer where to push the domain.

just curious why moniker doesn't like California?

The email says :
"Please sign in to Escrow.com
The status of the above transaction has changed and you are now required to take action on this transaction.
To view the details of this transaction, please sign in to your account at Escrow.com."

When I log in to escrow.com:
Jun 3 2008 1:13PM PDT
Escrow.com approves payment.
Submit the domain name transfer to the Buyer

there is an adress
and the buyer
Buyer:John Doe ([email protected])

I did not asked the buyer their account details (they said they had a godaddy account)
Should I push the domain to (which is godaddy) to [email protected] using the address as whois details.

Or should I ask the buyer their godaddy account details if they are not matching how can I prove that I pushed the domain to the true buyer ?

thanks

Better ask them first.

Sorry for asking repatedly if I ask them and they say push the domain to
[email protected] and I push the domain to this adress and they say we did not take the domain what will be my security.
Should not escrow service give me that details ?

That is indeed a possibility. Acro had a good advice there - copy escrow.com on all emails.
No, escrow doesnt provide the transfer details, you need to negotiate this directly. Of course if the emails are different and it looks suspicious - be careful.

Either way you'll have the confirmation that you pushed the domain from the registrar as well as the email correspondence, so that should be enough.

Thanks Michael and Acroplex this is ok for me.
But why should I need and escrow service if it carries some risk (?) :)
