Today, you would need to fill out the form and we will contact you and the other parties to complete the transaction. We are still in the process of designing and writing our software. The company and the bank accounts are located in NZ.

Can you please tell us about the licensing body that oversees your service (e.g., which country, which body, what oversight entails...is it similar or more/less stringent than the California Department of Business Oversight and in what ways)?

Also, you rely on 3rd party javascript; if possible, you should serve that code yourself, to reduce a possible security vector. imo Doing your own captcha might not be feasible, though...

I've seen some negative feedback on Ecop tho they tell me it's cheaper than Escrow. There's room for more escrow services for domainers.

They do need very low as pricing domainers may not find it worth their time to switch if they're happy with their current escrow provider.

I have not had any issues using eCOP, however it is not an escrow service as strictly determined by US regulations.

Other than that, there is room in the domain industry for quality, service-oriented companies such as EscrowHill.com to co-exist with giant Escrow.com and newcomer Agreed.com.

Good luck to Andee and I wish her good fortunes, I see it'll actually be New Zealand-based, interesting....As to eCop and others, they haven't acquired Escrow.com's stature -at least for domain deals- so Escrow.com is pretty much the only true competition

I'd suggest to Andee selling her vast expertise with domain transactions to Go Daddy's top mgmt for example, I had a few transactions $1,000 and above sent to Escrow.com automatically because of their agreement, and I was happy to see the commission (as of my last deal) was always lower for the seller/GD customer when the deal went to Escrow.com than GD's own 10%. The GD Auctions guys even have a go-to guy at Escrow.com, Ryan, apparently the specialist for GD deals. I look forward to trying Escrow Hill soon ! ....Maybe try to start with a minimum fee that's lower than the $25 Escrow.com now charges, that's a deal-killer for smaller sales and some sellers would rather risk losing the domain doing a straight PayPal ..... :yes:
