I currently have a domain that is at eSoftwiz, Inc. Their website is not functional and I am unable to log into my account. Despite the domain being unlocked I cannot gain access to any EPP codes to complete a transfer. The company will not respond to my communications. Snapnames gladly took my money for the auction last year, but now I am stuck without any way of transferring the domain away from this registrar. I found out that this company has had it's certificate of incorporation canceled as of March 24th, 2007 in Toronto. What exactly am I supposed to do here? I still have a few months left before it's up for renewal. Certainly I am not supposed to lose a domain simply because I got stuck at a rogue registrar?

I've just logged into my account without any problems. Don't know why it isn't working for you.

Every time I click member login it says

"[r4] Error Message: The URL you have typed is either incorrect or has been changed. Please contact our Support desk if you continue to get this error."

If you are referring to manage.snapnames.com that is different than esoftwiz.com or manage.esoftwiz.com
I have used both internet explorer and firefox. I'm surprised you are able to log in.

Thanks. That worked perfectly. I still emailed ICANN regarding this issue. Registrars should respond timely and have a fully functional website. There have been issues with this registrar in the past. You will notice that they have only about 1300+ domains and this number is dropping every month.

**Just a word of warning to everyone who uses snapnames. Make sure once you obtain a domain that you set a "secret word" AKA EPP transfer code otherwise it is not set by default. Unless one is set you will not be able to transfer your domains to another registrar, even if they are unlocked. Also make sure that you attempt the transfer process several months ahead of expiration in case any problems creep up. Don't wait until the last minute or you will also pay high renewal rates and may have problems even renewing your domain at all.**

Thanks clemzonguy,

Using the link you provide I logged into esoftwiz but the site was still giving me errors saying I wasn't logged in.
However, if you continue to click on the page again it will show you are logged in. Keep that same window open once you accomplish this.

To view the EPP code it is the same way that you would do it at manage.snapnames.com
(they clutter the interface to try and sell you additional services making it harder to navigate)

1) Click on "domains -> list last 10"
(I don't know what happens when you get more than 10)

2) Click here to Manage the Domain Registration properties for xxxxx.com

3) Under "Order Information" at the top you should see something about a
"Domain Secret". Apparently now one is set by default on new names so you will see
"Click here to view your Domain Secret over a Secure Connection."
If there is not one set you will be able to set it here.
(Snapnames needs to stick with proper terms instead of confusing us).

4) Make sure that you write this down in a safe place.

5) Reminder: If you are transferring your domain you will need to unlock it also.
