In April 7th will start the sunrise period for eu. domains public registrations.
Many of us will be curious to know: which value will have them?
If somebody of us will register a domain like business.eu, or bank.eu, hotel.eu etcetera, how many money we will make with one of them?
Even for a two letters, or a two characters domain.
Anyone of you made this question to himself?
Can we try to make a "general appraisal" for that extension?

Hope this discussion can be interesting for anyone, so we can talk about it.

Yes, those 3 names will make someone rich. But for the less value name?
For a two letters, two characters domains, or even for a .com domain that value $20,000, how much we can expect?

My idea is a 20% of a dot com, what do you think?

Between 10% and 20% IMO in the beginning :eek:k:

But of course there is domains (few) that are more valuable with the .eu

Surely all the tourism-related. But unfortunately Eurid blocked the prenotations for all countries and locations domain names. So we will not have italy.eu, spain.eu, and i think we will not have even berlin.eu or venice.eu. We will see... :-#

Anyway 10-20% I think can be realistic.

Any comments from moderators, old forum users, experts, domain brokers, etcetera?

Yours opinions will be really appreciated!

where will be the best place to register .eu domains, and is it on a first come first serve basis, or is it a case of who you know?
You are a little late, it's first come first served and started a couple months ago...
