I see Italy wants to pull out of the EU. France and Holland just rejected joining the EU. Britain is upset. Turkey is viewed as problem.

At least politically it looks bad. Maybe they will still have domain names however?

The EU is not really falling apart.

What hapened is that France and Holland rejected a common constitution

that would have created a more centralized (federal ) government , a system

similar to the United States, because of fears that these would lead to

further expansion that will create more unemployment, since new countries

that join the union are not usually in such a good shape as the ones that are

already members.

None of the EU countries really wants to pull out of the EU because of the

massive benefits the industry and citizens have due to the huge free market

(low or non-existent taxes between countries , no restrictions on hiring

workers from any other EU country that might be cheaper or better qualified.

what a post lol
where do you see Italy wanting to pull out of the EU???
or did you mix it up with 1 minister that suggested bring back both the italian liretta and the Eruo (currency)???
France and Holland are founding members of the EU, so they joined first decades ago, so your statement is a non statement.
Britain is upset? I dont undersdtand that.
Turkey is viewd as a problem, just like the US views mexico as a problem in NAFTA because of the lower wages and immigration, no news there. Also, a very very small part of Turkey is within the continent of Europe, with the vast majority being part of asia minor, so it is also geopolitical.

P.S.
I heard California doesnt want to join the US

I have found this piece of information about the registration fees:

http://www.eurid.eu/registrarInfo/fees.html

These fees apply for registrars. 10 euros for new registrations will be charged to the registrar by the eu registry so I would estimate the prices for end users will start at around 13 euros.

.eu could not only mean European Union, it could also stand for EUrope. So if European Union falls apart, .eu could still be unaffected, but the excitement of owning a .eu domain would probably less.

I doubt this would ever happen,it would severely effect all economy's since the shard currency and such and the tons of trade between those country's.

Nice site, I have to ask them to become an affiliate. ;-)
in the news from 26th june is missing that the pre-reg is now officially allowed and the registrars are also allowed to ask money for it. it is very important, because in the past there where Registrars that where selling pre-registrations with out being accredited.

he could also provide a timeline, see here:
