I thought .eu were not yet available - some eu.com domains have been reg'd though.

Nope. november 04 is the earliestest we can reg .eu (unless you have a TM, then it will be august 04 i think)

jobs.eu did NOT sell at sedo. It has been discussed at other famous domain forums

That's correct. It was jobs.eu.com, a subdomain of eu.com (they are sold by CentralNic).
