I have been waiting over 6 months for them to do a DNS change for one of my .ro domains! One of the worst registrars I have dealt with... Charge you to modify DNS servers and/or Registrant name/contact info, then promise to make DNS server changes (even do it finally in their online system), but registry never gets the updated DNS server info in the domain record, so my domain has been pointing to an incorrect/old DNS server that I don't have control over for many months. Lost much traffic due to this.

Support replies in about a week with promises or nonsense messages, but no action. Also since domain has been pending modification for 6 months their system won't let me update URL forwarding or any other stuff. Horrible.

hi Fornit,
after we receive the fax the registry needs a few days until the domain is registered. it can really take 4-6 days.
it is the registry process we have no influence to this.
and sending faxes produce problems too.
But 8 days is really to long, do you want to PM me the domain name so I can have a look to it?

hi woeger,
this sounds really horrible. I think I found you in our database, and I think I know about which domain name you are talking. well we had already a few issues with names like that, the registry simply ignored updates without replying. or even more worst, they ignored registrations!
I do not want to move responsability, we have to check how we can improve complicated niche TLD´s like .ro.
in the meantime I can only suggest to use our nameservers and use the forwarders.

And everybody that is having issues with support or registration is welcome to PM me.

Freddy thanks for your post. It appears the registry has finally updated the DNS servers for my .ro domain. Thanks for whatever you did to get it to update DNS servers.
