Has anybody here ever registered a typo by accident, only to realise this later and the correct version was taken then? I know a guy who did this. I came very close to doing it once when I was registering a domain for a client and I copied and pasted it from their email. BAD PLAN! part of the domain was the word "general" and I almost registered "genral."

Wouldn't have been the end of the world in any means, but I probably would have mumbled a few words under my breath! :cheeky:

Looking back, it would have been a funny story. I think it's safe to say that this has actually happened to some of you. If so, post the typo domains here so we can all have a laugh. :)

Yep, but it was free. I'm now the proud owner of IndianpolisIN.info

Haha! Nice both of those. I came close to picking one up off of snapnames only to realise that it was a typo. This was back when it was a $69 flat fee. Needless to say I would have been upset about spending $70 bucks for a typo..

I have picked up a drop HarvardCasino.com when it was supposed to be HarwardCasino.com. But I did earn about 5 bucks so far with ppc when someone actually typed in HarvardCasino.com and hit couple of links few months ago.

I spent 6.50 registration fee on it and now I have planned to let it expire.

But that one is the only one out of my over 2000 domain portfolio so far.

Thanks,
