Excel Help Needed - Will Pay

Need to know how to do this or have somoen do it for me.

I have a list of roughly 43,000 cities in the USA, I need the list sorted to show how many are identical city names. So I don't just need them alphabatized.

Here's an example of what I want...

Sample list:

Toronto
Montreal
Ottawa
Hamilton
London
Toronto
Toronto
Hamilton
Toronto

I want the output to say there are:

Toronto 4
Hamilton 2

So I want totals for duplicates in this list.

I generally take it to Access and do my queries there. ( I am more comfortable with sql)

Just use this formula in a blank column next to A, where A = the column you want the filtered and counted and carry the formula down to the end of the list (Double click on the tiny black box on the bottom right of the cell) If you want to forward me the file, I can do it if you need. =IF(COUNTIF($A$1:A1,A1)=1,COUNTIF(A:A, A1),"")
