I can actually use them to CREATE an .xls form -- even though I do NOT have the EXCEL program on my computer ??

My gosh that will be so wonderful - if they provide that...

Thank you for the link...

When I get back later today I'll check it out...

Get open office, it is free and compatible with most Office applications and features. If you're looking for basic spreadsheets (totals, averages, etc.. ) then this would be a great solution for you.

I think this is the site:

http://download.openoffice.org/index.html

I don't have any Office Apps on the PC I want to be able to create .xls forms on... will this still work for me ??

the forms that this Open Office makes - are they in the .xls variety...
or just spreadsheetish ??

thank you for the link...

It's just to be able to use for Moniker Submits and SnapNames submits
they require thme in the xls format... I purchased the EXCEL software
last year and tried several times to install it... but it won't ... I don't
remember what the reason was... but it kept saying my PC was missing
something and we were never able to locate the missing piece to download it
or purchase and install it... and it kept locking up my pc... scared me enough
to NOT bother with attempted installs anymore...

I appreciate you all sharing info...

Open office can make .XLS spreadsheets which are compatible with Microsoft Excel. It is very close to MS Office (like I said, a few features will be missing but most people won't miss them).

Give it a try, worst case scenario is that you'll lose the time it took you to download and install it (it is free).
