Besides the obvious and best DNFBlog here, I thought I'd start a thread to share YOUR favorites that keep YOU informed. In this business, we all have a series of sites we visit each day, let's focus on your favorite and informative blogs that are must visits for any domainer, in YOUR opinion. Thanks in advance for your input!

i'm not in the absolute heat of the domainworld, but here from Sweden i like to read:
thedomains.com is a great resource if you take it for what it is
domainsherpa.com
plus the ones from the major old-school players and some smaller domain-news aggregation autoblogs and twitteraccounts.

in the scope of things, none are really that important to visit every day

but i will visit one who makes news, "worthy of being called news".

ask yourself, how much time to you spend reading fluff , then trying to find the facts?

you probably read one or two blogs today, and they'll tell you this side

then another will tell you a different side...then your asz is confused, so you read what somebody else got to say

by that time, you wasted a lot of mental energy and you're probably no better off than when you started.

if a blogger is breaking down facts and not trying to lead you, then he/she's is a good one.

experienced domainers know, who knows what.... but do newbs know jack from jill?

:)

some or many of them are "easily" impressed and they "look" for keywords that support their newb way of thinking.

and there are plenty of up and wanna comes, writing nonsense.

but how would you know, if another newb swallowed it and posted as their fav?

my advice for those seeking something to read, is to read and learn the history of the folks behind the blog.

why i say all that?

cause personally, not looking to see no list of the same names over and over and over and over and over again

but if you gotta post

then at least elaborate why you think they should even be listed

tell us what you've read and why you felt it was important to you

how the writer clarified a question or gave an example, illustrated a point.

not just, "i like their writing style"

imo...

I like to read a mix of financial related blogs, domaining blogs and self improvement websites.

Some are pulled from Domaining.com. Others are:

ted.com
thesimpledollar.com
thinkvitamin.com

dnjournal.com, domaining.com, elliott, dnfblog but I generally follow the realtime buzz (Twitter, FB) and drill down myself to get to the blogs... based on my info needs at any given time.

I tend to follow the major general tech blogs (mashable, gigaom, TC, allthingsd, etc) on a daily basis, but like to discover new gems now and then - again through buzz in social media or from people I follow & "trust" ...

ozdomainer.com is another good one, they do a podcast too, which is the only one I know of for domaining.
