I had a domain expired on Mar 28, I tried to renew it early in May, but it was not in my renewal list anymore. Now it seems to me that someone can snatch it and renewed it. I thought that there is 30-45 days redeemption period before another person can register it again.

Registrant :

Domain Name: XXX.COM {xxx.com }
Registration Date : 2002-3-28
Expiration Date : 2012-3-28

Nowadays, many registrars try to auction their expired domain inventory before
letting them go into redemption and all. Currently there's no ICANN policy saying
they can't be auctioned and must go straight into redemption if not renewed on
time.

If you really want that domain back, unfortunately only other options are to try
to buy it from its new owner or....talk to a lawyer to explore trademark rights if
any.

You do realize that there is another month (April) between those two, right?

You had at least 30 days to renew the name.

PM me the name and what Registrar it is with and I'll tell you your options.

I hope it wasn't literally a three letter .com or you'd get the Domain Darwin Award.
