I'm not sure but isn't the 6.75 for wholesale account owners only? They don't like to list prices anywhere so it's a bit hard to tell.

The major drawbacks are that you can only have one email forwarding account setup per domain and this can not be a catch all. Plus if you use their nameservers you get one main page forward, one popup forward, one pop under forward and one exit forward.

If those things don't really bother you or you have your own nameservers for everything then it's not too bad.

Also you can register names for 6.59 at cnobin.com if you are just chasing cheap registrations. Their interface and english is a bit out there sometimes but they are cheap.

All my new registrations go through Fabulous (at 6.75), no complaints here at all.

For wholesale account owners, domain registrations/renewals/transfers with Fabulous are $6.75. For retail account owners this price is $19.95.

Mail3K.com,
Thanks for the info on: www.net-hostings.org/register
$6 registrations is the best price around.

h16traffic, Mike Fab,
I have an account with Fabulous, but I don't see any thing about $6.75 domains. Is there something special you need to do? I own 400 plus domains. (not with them). Iwouldn't mind renewing or transferring my domains to them, but certainly not @ $19.95 which is all I see now.

LeftRight,
Good info on cnobin.com at $6.59 also. Who cares about the interface anyway? For me, when it comes to domain name reg's, renwl's, & trnf's - price is all that matters.

========================================
PS: Very useful posts. Great info. You are all helping me save a couple of hundred $ per year. Keep them coming!!! :cool:g

One thing a lot of people don't put into the equation is refill fees. If you park at fabulous you can have them put your monthly income into your registrar account instead of paying out so the $6.75 for registrations is $6.75 per registration whereas if you have an enom account it would be $6.95+3% or at cnobin $6.59+3% and so on.If you look at it that way Fab is even cheaper :eek:k: Except for that $6 place, i've never used them so can't comment.

Now that is cool!

I am a little hesitant about unparking and reparking my domains, but I will consider it.
Does anyone know if Sedo withholds current earnings if you move?

How's Fab with the payments. Consistent? Same day each month?

For me, like clockwork. Every 15th of the month.

Don't worry about parking/unparking, just change the nameservers if you've had enough of one place :eek:k: I move my names between parking places a little here and there without issue. You don't need to remove the names from the old place, just stop sending traffic there. It's part of business and they won't suddenly cut you off altogether because you found a better way to make money.

No one has contacted me about a better deal from any registrar.

I guess they are not extending the offer to the small portfolio owners.

I guess I will have to start my own registrar company to get a better deal.
DCG, just kidding!!! :-D

Depending on how you press the reply and edit button it will.

Anyway what is considered small, medium and large? 100, 1000, 10000 names?
