I try sometimes fabulous valuation tool , just to get an idea of the valuations a automatic tool can give(of course you never rely on this).

there is something strange in valuation of 4 letter domains.

most of them ( I suppose thousands) get a 0$ valuation.
ex
dopk.com 0$
emka.com 0$

the rest get 18K

bdkg.com $18,000
eekp.com $18,000
elkk.com $18,000

the dictionary words gets more.

Seems strange to me anyway. Any ideas?

What's a link to the tool? It's obviously flawed no matter what though.

The only true way to appraise your domain is to put it for sale and see what you can get. Depending on the market for names of the nature, you can get a decent idea of how much it's worth.

Even "appraisals" are biased because the people doing the appraising aren't necessarily interested in buying your domains. Get a few opinions at least. A name can be worth $10k to one person and $0 to another.

You are absolutely right about the possible value a domain has.

the tool is available to all fab users, it's an internal link though.
