Hi,

Usually when buying a domain, I would setup an account at the current registrar and have it pushed, but in this particular case, I'd rather not do that...

So, I am planning on transferring it to Moniker, Network Solutions, Enom or Godaddy, etc...
Does anyone know which registrar would have the quickest domain receiving transfer process? Or does the speed of the transfer depend on the losing registrar?

THANKS IN ADVANCE...

Yes, it depends on the speed transfer of the losing registrar. As far as I know, GD is quick at releasing a domain to the gaining registrar because the owner can log into their account and accept the transfer away as soon as GD receives the email.

It depends on the losing registrar, not the receiving registrar.
In my case, Network Solution -> Godaddy takes only 3 minutes.

I am experiencing a different time frame transferring from NetSol to GoDaddy.

From the time at which I provide GoDaddy with the authorisation EPP code, and the transfer code for a domain (at Go Daddy logged in), it takes at least 15 minutes for me to get an email from Network Solutions asking me to confirm or reject the transfer.

In fact, the email asks me if I want to reject the transfer, but if you click on the link, it actually lets you accept it.

However, even then it takes several days for the name to actually transfer from NetSol to GoDaddy.

How can this be expedited?

As far as I know, having just spoken with Network Solutions on the phone, a domain name transfer out from Network Solutions will take a minimum of 5 days. That was from their customer services, and I am transferring to GoDaddy, and have completed the necessary approval clicks.
