Hi,

Picked this up a couple of days ago.

Some good exacts/PR and a bit of age to it.

Any ideas on possible value?

Thanks,

Paul

With all *forum names, I believe they have little to no resell value as the real cash is with the end user dedicated to develop it out (quite expensive and even more with upkeep).

With that said, I believe that this is a mid XXX to low XXXX resell name and mid to high XXXX for an end user.

This is due to the fact that you can target high paying CPC keywords with various fighting styles (Karate, Kung Fu, Brazilian Jujitsu, etc.) as well as self defense where engaged members/instructors can post great content such as step by step lessons on a tactic with pictures (or even better, videos) and others replying with their own video asking if it was performed right or for any advice (as they may be seeking their next belt). You can also get that free content by going to a local dojo looking for someone who wants 15 minutes of fame and also network out from there.

It also has great development potential for politics and cancer patients (though if going for cancer, I would be uneasy about it unless I avidly donated to a good cause).

Good luck!

The value isn't much. Sure, it makes sense, and you could get lucky and sell to an end user. However, the name doesn't really bring much to the table in extra value. At least, not enough to convince someone to pay up for the name instead of using another alternative.

My guess is that if you listed it here you couldn't get $200 if you put it in a thread today. If I am wrong about that, then that means that this name is worth reasonably close to what PetForum.com is worth, and it clearly isn't.

This is the type of name that will likely cost you more to own than you will ever get out of it. If you factor in the time putting up this thread, searching potential end-users, thinking about it, etc., you easily get up to a few hundred dollars in real costs, if your time is worth anything at all. And I don't see the home run possibility as being that great.

This is the type of name you park somewhere and then try not to think about. If someone contacts you and you get lucky then that's great, but the more time you put into names like these the more they become a liability to your life (I've done it with worse names).
