Nice pickup. The .net hurts the value, but if you set up the site and develope some traffic and links you can probably resell for a modest (albeit smaller than if .com) profit. You might implement a adult MYPOD (My Personal Open Source Directory) and see if you can get some traffic. However, the time needed to put into development might outweight the sales potential. I would estimate it will take you 10-20 hours to set something up that is respectable - with minimal design and MYPOD customization. That might be faster if you are technologically and graphically gifted. Anyways, assume 10-20 hours @ $20 per hour value on your time then you are talking between $200-$400 dollars of labor costs. Then, estimate 40-80 hours over 16 weeks to consistently build and develope traffic. So, add on another $400-$800 dollars labor costs. If you buy additional software, add on the price of same to your labor costs. Estimate $100-200 dollars if you have to start from scratch. Then add on your marketing time to sell the domain.
So, if we add up the estimates, you are somewhere in the range of $700-$1400 dollars worth of labor and costs invested in developing the name findxxx.net. In order to make the sale worth your while I would think that you would want to recover your cost, and make at least the same in profit.
Do you think the name can be sold, after development, for between $1500 - $2800 dollars? If you do, and if you want to invest the time, then I would say go for it and good luck.
On the flip side It would seem to me that the name, undeveloped, is worth between $150-$300 dollars to a motivated buyer based on the fact that it is short, catchy, focused, and in a cash based industry that is growing every day.
Anyways, just my 2 cents.
Good luck
