Am I missing something - FirstClassAirfares.com appraisal please.

Just need a little light on why this great niche travel name is not drawing any bids - at least not near what I "believe" it's worth to be.

It is definitely an end user name, but, having been in the travel business for over 30 years, I know that this is probably the highest profit margin niche in the industry - premium class airfares.

Additionally, I sold BusinessClassAirfares.com for $8000 and this is a potentially more profitable name. FYI - a "wholesaler" or airfare "consolidator" with a first class bulk contract can earn 35% or more on a $10,000 first class ticket - that's $3500 PROFIT on ONE SALE.

The BusinessClassAirfares.com sale was far less than I thought it would be (at a Moniker auction) but a great deal for the buyer, who needs the profit from just 5-10 business class tickets to pay for the name.

It may just be that this is the wrong place to try to sell end user names - it seems more the parking revenue focus is here.

Airfares doesn't seem to be a very valuable keyword, a lot of airfare names have sold for pretty low prices and some "airfare" names are still available for registration, my guess for FirstClassAirfares and BusinessClassAirfares would have been low to mid $x,xxx each.

Google is showing the exact same number of searches for "business airfares" and "business class airfares" (weird) and BusinessAirfares sold for $2,000 in '07.

Most of the sales here are wholesale/reseller I think.
