We would like to announce that FTD, INC. has acquired Florist.com as of December 20, 2004. We have recently completed the transition of management from Florist.com to FTD

i bet this sale was a pretty penny ... anyone know any of the details?

For a buyer of FTD's magnitude, I would expect six figures.
