For the pair I predict they will hover around .9 CAD per USD. with highs perhaps as high as the recent peak above 1.1 and lows as low as .75 CAD per USD.

If there is one thing all markets have in common right now - it is volatility.

The strongest currencies for 2009 are the Swiss Franc and the Yen.

DNP,

If you are paying debt...best to pay it off asap regardless. So i would sell right away.

But, just to let you know. The Canadian dollar moves in a cycle. I think it will go lower before it goes back higher. It may stabalize here, but i do think it will be back in the low 70's sooner than later.

I hear ya. I will pay off 50% and gamble checking the trend for the next few weeks or so... Thanks, mate!

I believe that the currency markets will remain volatile for the rest of the year.
